Approved Electrician — Commercial

The Role

We're seeking a qualified Approved Electrician to carry out first fix, second fix and testing works on commercial electrical installations across the North West. You'll be part of a directly-employed site team working on a range of projects, from office and retail fit-outs to healthcare and educational environments, with full access to our technical and compliance support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix commercial electrical installations to a high standard
• Test, inspect and certify electrical systems in accordance with BS 7671
• Read and work from drawings, schedules and technical specifications
• Complete electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) and issue certificates
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with company H&S procedures
• Liaise with site supervisors and project managers on programme, quality and snag resolution

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds 2357 or equivalent Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification
• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) — current
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
• Minimum three years' post-qualification commercial experience
• ECS Gold Card
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience in healthcare, education or industrial environments
• Familiarity with BMS or controls integration work
• First Aid at Work certificate
