Grid connection that takes months and delays the project

DNO G99 applications for larger commercial installations require load flow data, protection settings and formal approval — a process that takes several months if managed reactively. We initiate the DNO application process at the outset of the design stage, so grid connection approvals are in place before equipment is ordered.

A design that doesn't optimise the available roof area

Panel layout, string configuration and inverter selection all affect the energy yield from a given roof area. We produce a site-specific yield model before specifying any equipment — so the system is designed to maximise output from your actual roof orientation, pitch and shading profile.

No monitoring to verify the system is performing

A solar PV system that is underperforming may not be immediately obvious — string faults, soiling and inverter issues reduce output silently. We commission inverter monitoring and generation data logging as part of every installation.

Documentation that doesn't satisfy your insurer or funder

Commercial PV installations require MCS or equivalent documentation, G99/G98 commissioning confirmations, test certificates and as-installed drawings. We produce the full documentation package at handover — in the format required by funders, insurers and building management.
