The Brief
As M&E electrical subcontractor to Eric Wright Group, Con-Tec delivered the complete electrical package for a 6-storey mixed-use commercial development — from LV distribution through to lighting controls, data infrastructure and a future-ready EV charging strategy across a £1.4M scope.
Principal Contractor Interface
Working directly to Eric Wright Group as principal contractor, our team managed all electrical trade coordination including containment routes, structural penetrations and builder's work. Weekly design coordination meetings ensured the electrical package remained aligned with architectural and M&E changes throughout the Stage 5/6 programme.
LV Distribution and Controls
Main LV switchboard, tenant distribution boards, landlord-controlled lighting circuits and BMS integration were all delivered to the landlord specification, with full metering at each tenancy level. A 32-point EV-ready infrastructure was installed to future-proof the car park for anticipated tenant charging demand.

Delivered on Programme
Final energisation was achieved on the agreed date, enabling the developer's practical completion milestone. Full O&M documentation, test certificates and as-installed drawings were submitted within two weeks of completion.
