Our Story

Two decades of electrical expertise. Still raising the standard.

Con-Tec Solutions was founded in 2003 by Andrew Smith with a clear purpose: to build a commercial and industrial electrical contractor that stood apart on technical rigour, compliance and delivery. Starting with a small team serving local commercial sites, we grew steadily by earning the trust of clients who returned with bigger, more complex projects.

Over twenty years, that growth took us into NHS acute hospitals, large-scale industrial facilities, university campuses and multi-site framework agreements — each project reinforcing the same principle: technical excellence and honest delivery are the only sustainable strategy.
