The Role
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical works on commercial and industrial projects across the North West. You'll manage small teams of directly-employed electricians, maintain quality and compliance standards on site, and act as the primary point of contact between our project managers and the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical installation works on commercial and industrial sites
- Manage and coordinate teams of directly-employed electricians
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671, health and safety legislation and client-specific requirements
- Liaise with project managers, clients and main contractors on programme and progress
- Conduct regular site inspections and sign off completed work to agreed quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labour hours and site progress
- Identify and escalate risks, snags and variations in a timely manner
- Contribute to pre-start planning, method statements and risk assessments
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) — current
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
- Proven experience as an electrical supervisor on commercial or industrial projects
- CSCS Gold Card (Supervisory or above)
- Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and current CDM regulations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- ECS Gold Card
- First Aid at Work certificate
- Experience on NHS, industrial or multi-site framework contracts
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
