Electrical Site Supervisor

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day electrical works on commercial and industrial projects across the North West. You'll manage small teams of directly-employed electricians, maintain quality and compliance standards on site, and act as the primary point of contact between our project managers and the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works on commercial and industrial sites
• Manage and coordinate teams of directly-employed electricians
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, health and safety legislation and client-specific requirements
• Liaise with project managers, clients and main contractors on programme and progress
• Conduct regular site inspections and sign off completed work to agreed quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of materials, labour hours and site progress
• Identify and escalate risks, snags and variations in a timely manner
• Contribute to pre-start planning, method statements and risk assessments

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) — current
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
• Proven experience as an electrical supervisor on commercial or industrial projects
• CSCS Gold Card (Supervisory or above)
• Strong working knowledge of BS 7671 and current CDM regulations
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• ECS Gold Card
• First Aid at Work certificate
• Experience on NHS, industrial or multi-site framework contracts
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
