Industrial Service
Three-Phase Power
Three-phase power installation and distribution for industrial premises — motor control centres, distribution board upgrades, sub-mains, cable management and full BS 7671 certification for manufacturing, production and plant environments.
What industrial three-phase power work actually has to deliver
01
Existing distribution that can't carry the new load
Adding machinery, a new production line or a process upgrade without assessing the existing distribution is a programme risk. We carry out a load flow assessment and confirm supply capacity before any design work begins — so the budget accounts for the full electrical scope.
02
Motor starting that causes voltage drops across other circuits
Direct-on-line motor starting draws significant inrush current and can cause voltage depression affecting other equipment on the same distribution. We design the motor circuit protection and, where required, specify soft-start or variable speed drive (VSD) solutions to manage this.
03
An MCC that can't be serviced without a full shutdown
Older motor control centres are often configured so individual drive or starter maintenance requires isolating the whole panel. New MCCs are designed with withdrawable or individually-isolatable sections so maintenance windows can be minimised.
04
No documented circuit history for the maintenance team
Industrial electrical installations are often modified over decades without updated documentation. We produce as-installed single-line diagrams, circuit schedules and EICR documentation at the close of every project — giving your maintenance team a reliable starting point.
