The Brief
A North West local authority required systematic electrical condition reporting across its entire public estate — 47 buildings ranging from civic offices and community centres to maintenance depots and archive facilities — with a phased remedial programme to follow.
Standardised Documentation
One of the primary challenges of a multi-site EICR programme is ensuring consistency. Our inspection teams followed a standardised methodology across all 47 buildings using identical equipment and documentation templates, so the authority's Estates team received directly comparable reports across the full estate — enabling genuine like-for-like prioritisation.

“Consistent, auditable EICR documentation across 47 buildings — with prioritised remedial schedules we could actually act on.”
— Local Authority Estates Manager

Phased Remedials
Survey findings were graded C1, C2 and C3 and consolidated into a prioritised remedial schedule for the authority's capital programme. Con-Tec was subsequently appointed to deliver the C1 and C2 remedial works across the estate, providing single-contractor continuity of documentation and accountability.
